South Africa: Farm Mechanic posted by Pronel Consultants

A well-established Farm is seeking a skilled and reliable General Mechanic to join their team. This is a full-time live-in position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment maintaining and servicing a wide range of farm and forestry equipment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Essential):
– Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Zulu
– 35 years experience working on farm vehicles and implements (e.g. tractors, Bell loggers, bulldozers, skid steer loaders, and trucks)
– Auto electrical experience
– Chainsaw repairs and servicing experience
– Computer literacy with basic admin skills
– Strong people skills, time management, and planning ability

ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES:
– Experience in water pump repair and servicing
– Firefighting experience in forestry or agricultural environments
– Other general workshop skills
– Code 14 drivers license (beneficial for after-hours income opportunities)
