Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business revenue through prospecting, qualifying and closing deals.
- Prepare tenders, reports, presentations and approve customer-specific rates.
- Analyse client requirements and propose tailored road freight solutions.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships through professional service and proactive follow-ups.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for all services offered.
- Stay informed on industry trends, products and competitor offerings.
- Facilitate effective communication between sales teams and internal departments.
Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent; BCom Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience, ideally in the logistics industry.
- Proven track record of successfully generating leads and closing deals.
- Strong operational background and trade lane knowledge across Africa/cross-border movements.
- Excellent client orientation, negotiation and communication skills.
- Target-driven, able to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
