Pietermaritzburg: Junior Bookkeeper – Pietermaritzburg

Responsibilities: Bookkeeping to trial balance Legal trust bookkeeping in line with compliance requirements Online banking payments (Nedbank and FNB) Processing Section 86(4) investments on Nedbank Bank, trust account and ledger reconciliations Assist with month-end tasks and maintain accurate financial records Requirements: 12 years bookkeeping experience (Trust accounting experience essential) Knowledge of legal trust bookkeeping and Section 86(4) investments Experience with Nedbank and FNB online banking Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Relevant bookkeeping/finance certificate or qualification (Advantageous) Relevant tertiary qualification (Certificate/Diploma) Proficiency with relevant accounting software Exceptional attention to detail and high integrity Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
