Job Description
- Matric, or relevant qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 4 years’ experience in accounting or admin (hospitality/retail preferred)
- Proficiency in Pastel, Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
- Strong computer skills
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of POS systems, VAT, and PAYE compliance is advantageous
- Hours: Monday – Friday | 09:00 – 16:30
DUTIES
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile daily cash-ups
- Manage suppliers and supplier invoices, petty cash, and payments
- Administration relating to POS systems
- Support the payroll process and general payroll administration
- Generate reports, and monthly management accounts
- Oversee VAT and PAYE compliance where necessary
- Oversee office administration, contracts, and compliance documents
- Assist with procurement and stock control – placing orders, receiving, checking stock
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
