Job Title: Project Manager Shopfitting (Cabinet Maker / Master Craftsman / Site Manager)

Salary: R30 000 R50 000 per month (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in shopfitting and cabinetry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2025 years of hands-on experience in cabinet making, shopfitting, and construction, and must currently be employed with a proven track record of successful commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee full shopfitting and construction projects from inception to completion

• Coordinate production and on-site installation processes

• Interpret and work from architectural drawings, specifications, and site plans

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

• Operate and supervise the use of woodworking machinery and tools

• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or construction-related issues

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow

• Maintain a strong attention to detail throughout every phase of the project

• Report progress and challenges to management regularly

Requirements

• 2025 years experience in shopfitting, cabinet making, and/or construction

• Currently employed with a strong referenceable track record

• In-depth knowledge of shopfitting techniques, construction materials, and processes

• Project management experience in both workshop production and on-site installations

• Proficient in reading architectural and site plans

• Experience operating a full range of woodworking equipment

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• High attention to detail and quality control

• Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle

• Ability to provide a portfolio of completed commercial projects
