We are looking for a skilled and motivated Conveyor Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing conveyor systems and material handling solutions to meet the needs of a diverse range of industrial clients. You will work from concept through to detailed design, ensuring efficient, reliable, and cost-effective conveyor systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop conveyor systems for manufacturing, packaging, logistics, or process industries.
• Prepare 3D models, detailed drawings, and layout plans using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Carry out mechanical calculations including load analysis, belt selection, drive sizing, and power transmission.
• Work closely with project managers, electrical/control engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Review client specifications and create design proposals, technical documentation, and bill of materials (BOMs).
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and product innovation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in mechanical or conveyor system design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of conveyor system components (belts, rollers, drives, frames, etc.).
• Experience with bulk handling, pallet conveyors, or modular belt conveyors preferred.
• Familiarity with design standards and health & safety regulations.
• Good project and time management skills.
