About the Role
Join a well-established organisation based in the east of Johannesburg, where their finance team plays a critical role in ensuring strong financial governance, operational reporting, and strategic support to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, journals, and reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Drive month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls
- Assist with audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to support accurate financial reporting
Requirements
- Education / Professional Qualification:
- BCom Accounting
- Honours would be advantageous
