About the role

We are seeking a Line Setter to join our dynamic team in JHB – Eastern Suburbs. As a Line Setter, you will be responsible for setting up , adjustment and changeover of production lines to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime. This role ensures that machinery and equipment are correctly configures maintained and operating safely to meet production targets and quality standards

Key responsibilities:

• Setting up line machines according to production requirements
• Performing regular maintenance on machines to ensure smooth operation
• Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments as needed
• Ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times
• Reporting any technical issues to the operations team
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal operation

Skills and qualifications:

Grade 12 
3-4 years of experience as a Line machine setter, Excellent communication skills
Clean criminal record
Available immediately
Proven experience as a line Setter, machine setter or similar role in a production environment 
Mechanical aptitude with ability to set , adjust and trouble shoot production machinery 
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines
