Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and production equipment. Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs to minimize downtime. Manufacture, repair, and modify components using lathes, milling machines, and other workshop equipment. Assemble, install, and commission new machinery or production lines. Ensure machinery is correctly aligned, calibrated, and operating according to safety standards. Assist with motor and gearbox assembly. Conduct basic electrical and hydraulic maintenance tasks. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications. Conduct root-cause analysis on breakdowns and recommend improvements. Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on completed work. Support production teams with mechanical troubleshooting and adjustments. Adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workshop.
