Job Description
A leading construction compnay is seeking a Materials Technician to join their company.
Responsibilities:

Conduct field and laboratory testing of construction materials such as soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.

Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
-
Prepare and maintain accurate test records, data sheets, and technical reports.
-
Assist in sampling, compaction, and mix design evaluations for various materials.
-
Support site engineers in verifying material suitability and performance during construction phases.
-
Operate and maintain testing equipment according to calibration and safety standards.
-
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations in all testing and site activities.
-
Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve material-related issues promptly.
Requirements:

Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Materials Testing, or Construction Technology (or equivalent).

Proven field and lab testing experience in the construction or infrastructure sector.

Strong knowledge of construction materials, standards, and QA/QC processes.
-
Proficiency in using laboratory and field testing equipment.

Ability to interpret test results and communicate findings effectively.
-
Good attention to detail, analytical thinking, and report-writing skills.
-
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team under strict deadlines.
