Durban: Fleet Controller

A career opportunity exists at REINHARDT TRANSPORT GROUP BM Hauliers, DURBAN for the position of: FLEET CONTROLLER Job Summary : (not limited to) Oversee all aspects of fleet management (productivity, wages, fuel consumption, route planning, etc) Assign and ensure execution of tasks to drivers Track orders and deliveries Constant monitoring of driver and vehicle performance and efficiency & finding ways to improve productivity Co-ordinate vehicle maintenance to ensure the fleet is maintained, including scheduling of services and COF inspections for vehicles to remain in a safe and roadworthy condition Monthly inspections and arrangements for services and repairs Requirement: Matric Computer literate Excel (compulsory) At least 3 years experience in fleet management (controller) Experience in movement of containers will be an added advantage Candidate must have experience on the NAVIS system Own Transport Sober habits Must be able to work shifts Willing to work long hours, public holidays, and weekends Remuneration: To be discussed in the interview
