Rustenburg: Security Weighbridge Supervisor (Tharisa Minerals Mine)

Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Leadership: Lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and accountability. Maintain a clean, sober, and presentable appearance. Deliver consistent and effective customer service. Safety & Compliance: Commit to Life-Saving Behaviours and Fatal Hazard Protocols. Ensure adherence to Safe Work Procedures and Weighbridge-specific safety requirements. Conduct and verify daily risk assessments and movement register completion. Operational Oversight: Supervise daily weighbridge operations and security personnel. Monitor surveillance systems and conduct spot checks. Prevent unauthorized access and enforce security protocols. Review fleet dispatch lists and perform compliance spot checks on chrome transport companies. Reporting & Data Management: Analyse and resolve SQL clocking exceptions. Compile and send truck loading statistics via WhatsApp (05:00 & 17:00). Prepare detailed shift reports including irregularities and SQL data. Submit monthly reports on truck loading per company and transport group. Meetings & Standby Duties: Attend production meetings. Be available for bi-weekly standby and respond to callouts. Time off in lieu applicable based on operational needs. Requirements: Proven experience in weighbridge operations or similar supervisory role. Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Proficiency in data analysis and surveillance monitoring. Comply to job description. Be able to affectively report any irregularities and make OB entries thereof. Follow all Health & Safety procedures on site. Ensure all company SOPS are followed; Ensure all BPC policies and procedures are followed at all times. Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: PSIRA certification Grade A. Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Bilingual (English). Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Clean disciplinary, no criminal record. Willing to work 12 hours shifts. Relevant Mining / Weighbridge experience. Valid drivers licence. Computer literate. Previous Control Room Experience.
