Duties & Responsibilities

Work activities can vary depending on the project, but typical duties can include:

• Repair plumbing (non-negotiable)
• Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices, clean facilities and managing maintenance repairs
• Furniture build and carpentry
• Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting in the diagnosis and repair of faults in Electrical and Mechanical
• Installations, plant and equipment
• Available and or to be schedule to work on emergency calls
• Performs general repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines
• Electrical and safety systems
• Undertake repairs to building furniture including doors, windows, cupboards, shelving, and building fabric.
• Perform minor adjustments on room furniture, fixtures and other items in the facilities as required

Requirements

• Matric Certificate or equivalent (non-negotiable) Requirements
• Technical skills (non-negotiable)
• A minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar role
• Solid experience with plumbing
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment
• Extremely organised with good communication skills
• Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving
• Have a valid drivers license (non-negotiable)
• Have a SA ID or Work permit (non-negotiable)
