Role PurposeAdvanced Technology Services (SECUREJEDI) is building a local Managed Security Operations Centre (SOC) to deliver co-managed SOC services to enterprise and public-sector customers. The L1 SOC Analyst performs first-line monitoring and alert triage, validates events within agreed playbooks, documents findings, and escalates confirmed incidents to L2/L3 as required.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor SIEM/XDR dashboards and alert queues during assigned shifts.Perform initial triage: verify alert context, check enrichment fields, and identify false positives.Follow runbooks to classify incidents by severity and business impact.Create and update incident tickets in the ITSM/SOAR platform with accurate, complete evidence.Escalate validated security incidents to L2 within SLA timelines.Conduct daily SOC health checks (log ingestion status, failed sources, noisy rules).Support basic threat-intel lookups and IOC matching under L2 guidance.Participate in shift handovers and maintain clear operational notes.Minimum RequirementsExperience: 02 years in SOC, NOC, IT operations, or security monitoring roles.Technical Skills:Basic SIEM log monitoring and event correlation.Network/security fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, AD, HTTP/S, VPN, firewall concepts).Ability to distinguish normal vs suspicious activity with guidance.Familiarity with ITSM ticketing and standard operating.
