Live-In Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join a prestigious luxury game lodge located in the world-renowned Sabi Sands ?. This is the perfect role for a hands-on hospitality professional who is passionate about the African bush, has excellent leadership skills, and is driven to deliver exceptional guest experiences ?. Youll work closely with the General Manager and support the day-to-day operations across all departments, ensuring smooth and seamless service delivery in a high-end, remote safari setting ?. ? Key Responsibilities: Support the General Manager with daily lodge operations Engage with guests to ensure world-class service and unforgettable stays Lead and manage staff across departments with confidence and respect Assist with guiding and game ranging duties when required Resolve guest issues or operational challenges proactively Uphold lodge standards with a strong on-site presence Monitor stock control and basic financial procedures Support vehicle and equipment maintenance Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational protocols Maintain admin records and assist with reporting tasks Requirements: Previous experience in a luxury lodge or safari operation, ideally in a management or supervisory role Fluent in English with excellent communication skills ? Well-groomed; professional, and confident with guests Strong leadership with effective delegation skills Basic mechanical/maintenance knowledge is a plus ? Financial understanding or willingness to learn lodge finance basics Computer literate and familiar with lodge systems ? Valid drivers licence (Code 8 or higher preferred) ?
