A 4* property with over 200 bedrooms is looking to employ a dynamic dedicated Maintenance / Chief Engineer, the following requirements are to be met: 6 years working experience in a 4 * environment in a similar position. Computer literate Excellent Communication Skills (Fluent in English) Well presented and well groomed Key Areas of Responsibility The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the hotel’s facilities, managing a team of maintenance staff, coordinating projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of all systems and equipment. Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance Experience in supervising and managing a team of maintenance technicians Project management skills for coordinating and overseeing maintenance projects Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards Cover shifts when required to do so. To carry out other duties that the Hotel GM will require from time to time. CURRENTLY HOLDING THE POSITION ADVERTISED Salary up to R 45 000 gross plus Medical Aid and Pension. An UPDATED & detailed CV in MS Word format (starting with current position) is required, as well as a Recent head & shoulders photo, taken in the last 6 months.
