ENVIRONMENT:

A leading Security Solutions provider in Centurion is seeking a highly experienced Lead native Android Developer (Kotlin/Compose) to join their team and lead the development of our Android applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Kotlin and Compose and a proven track record of delivering high-quality Android applications.

DUTIES:

• Lead the development of Android applications using Kotlin and Compose.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Mentor and lead junior developers on the team.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Work with designers to implement their designs and ensure that the app meets brand standards.
• Ensure that all Android applications are stable, high-performing, and scalable.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience in Android development and Kotlin programming.
• Experience with Compose.
• Strong understanding of Android design principles, user experience, and mobile app development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team.
