F&B Manager – Family Beach Resort, Kenya Our client operates a busy family beach resort in Kenya and they are now looking for a young, energetic F&B professional to join the team. With 300 rooms and four restaurants and four bars spread across a large beach front estate, candidates must be used to coping with the demands of a busy department set in a hot and humid remote location Candidate attributes /skills Prior African experience is a pre-requisite for the role The role is extremely hands on and the F&B Manager needs to be constantly engaged with his/her team Must have held a similar position in large four or five star international properties Must be an excellent trainer and motivator The property is remote so need to be a good planner and have the ability to think on your feet Ability to oversee and manage a large multi-cultural team effectively and sensitively Computer literate with sound business acumen Prior remote location experience would be a big advantage Fluent in English and a good communicator Must have a good sense of humour and be able to interact comfortably with the international clientele Must have solid all round F&B skills and be used to high volume operations – experience in all inclusive resorts is a big plus Must hold a formal relevant qualification and display stability in their last three positions Package Salary up to US$3,000 net per month, depending on experience Single status Medical Insurance Annual flight home Accommodation provided on site Please do not apply if you do not possess the specified skills and experience stated above.
