Job Description
The Junior Administrator provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth daily operations within the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and able to assist multiple departments with basic admin tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, phone calls, messages).
- Maintain and update company databases, records, and documents.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating appointments.
- Support office staff with preparing basic reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Organize and maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Assist with onboarding tasks, such as preparing induction documents.
- Welcome visitors and handle basic reception duties when required.
- Provide administrative support to management and other team members on ad-hoc tasks.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and work under supervision
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional, reliable, and willing to learn
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement)
- Administrative certificate or relevant training (advantageous)
- 0–2 years administrative experience (entry-level suitable)
