East London: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for our client in the Automotive Industry in East London. Role will be a contract at first Requirements: National Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics 3 years post qualification experience in the automotive industry E-PLAN P8 experience is an advantage Knowledge of Siemens PLC’s and control circuits Drivers License Possible duties: Design and implement electrical systems and layouts for industrial and automation environments Create and update detailed electrical schematics and documentation using EPLAN P8 Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize control systems, including Siemens PLCs and related industrial circuits Conduct inspections and functional testing to ensure electrical systems meet safety and performance standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production operations and project execution Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and integration of electrical systems Ensure compliance with relevant electrical engineering standards, regulations, and company policies
