Irene: Mechanical Engineer

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc) or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years experience working with large EPCM companies. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering standards and construction processes. Proficiency in mechanical engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar). Ability to interpret and develop technical drawings, P&IDs, mechanical layouts, and datasheets. Experience working on multidisciplinary engineering projects. Roles & Responsibilities: Support the mechanical engineering scope throughout all project phasesfrom concept, FEED, and detailed design through construction and commissioning. Prepare mechanical engineering deliverables such as calculations, specifications, datasheets, and design reports. Review vendor documentation and evaluate equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure alignment of technical work. Provide mechanical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning. Conduct site visits, inspections, and technical assessments when required. Contribute input to project schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments. Ensure all mechanical engineering work complies with relevant industry standards and internal quality requirements. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure informed and timely decision-making. Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in the development of internal engineering best practices. Closing Date: Submissions for this vacancy will close on 10 December 2025.
