About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join a talented team in Sandton, South Africa. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and innovative design projects while contributing to creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of design concepts and presentations for various commercial projects.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to establish project goals and requirements.
- Source materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with project themes and budgets.
- Participate in on-site visits to ensure design intent is adhered to during the construction phase.
- Contribute to team brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of completed projects is required.
- NCIDQ certification or equivalent is a plus.
