Coastal Hardware located in Grand Baie, Mauritius is seeking a Trellidor Technician to join the trim shop.

The Trellidor technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and manufacturing of Trellidor products. This role also involves logistics tasks, such as receiving shipments and verifying product integrity, as well as staying informed about Trellidor brand updates, new products, and installation techniques to ensure consistent quality and service excellence.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to;

Installation:

• Drive to client sites across Mauritius.
• Installation of Trellidor products securely and accurately according to specifications.
• Measure and prepare areas for Trellidor installations.
• ensure proper alignment and functionality of all installed components.

Manufacturing in trim shop:

• Assemble Trellidor products from raw materials according to specifications.
• Operate machinery and tools.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company standards and client requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the trim shop.

Maintenance and repairs:

• Diagnose and repair faults in existing installations, including mechanical and structural issues.
• Replace damaged or malfunctioning parts as needed.

Logistics and inventory management:

• Conduct regular checks to ensure adequate Maintain stock levels of Trellidor components are available at all times.
• Accept and unload Trellidor shipments upon delivery.
• Verify all items received against the packing list/ delivery documentation.
• Inspect received products for any damage, defects, or discrepancies. Report any missing or damaged items immediately.
• Organize and store shipments properly in the trim shop.

General Duties:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service and after-sales support.
• Communicate with clients to understand their security needs and address any concerns.
• Prepare and submit service report and job completion forms.
• Maintain outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising standards.
• Stay informed about updates to the Trellidor brand, including new product lines, features, and installation methods.
• Review product manuals and training materials provided by Trellidor.
• Keep up to date with the latest installation techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
• Follow all companies policies and procedures.
• Perform any other tasks as requested by management.

Package & Remuneration

• The position will pay a market related salary dependent on experience.

Candidate’s Profile:

• 2-years+ experience in manufacturing and installing aluminum products.
• Drivers license, and willingness to drive to client sites across Mauritius
• Higher School Certificate (HSC).
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
• Detail oriented.
• A proactive attitude.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
