Key Responsibilities Lead, coordinate, and manage multidisciplinary engineering project activities from initiation to close-out. Develop, review, and approve mechanical designs, specifications, calculations, and engineering deliverables. Prepare and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk registers. Conduct design reviews, ensure engineering standards are met, and drive best-practice design methodologies. Interface with clients, internal departments, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are achieved. Support procurement activities, including technical evaluations and vendor selection. Oversee fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project specifications. Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and support project teams with problem-solving. Ensure all work is compliant with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Minimum Requirements Mechanical BEng degree (Mandatory). 610 years experience in project engineering within mining, minerals processing, water treatment, or heavy industrial environments. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical equipment, process plant layouts, and project execution practices. Proven ability to manage full project life cycles and coordinate multiple engineering disciplines. Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools. Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Experience EPC/EPCM project exposure.
