They provide professional engineering services in various sectors, including civil, structural, environmental, water, transportation, urban development, mechanical, electrical engineering, and mining Job Description You will be required to: Assist with project life cycle development and management functions mainly by computing designs and preparation of drawings, project development, project coordination, project scope definition, construction monitoring, project management, and project administration. Conduct project development through facilitation of specialist studies & facilitate their procurement, undertake designs and prepare drawings and project initiation. Conduct project management and contract administration services of civil engineering projects Conduct construction monitoring services including quality assurance, scheduling, coordinating, client communication, and produce regular reports about project progress. Work with various project stakeholders, specialists, and authorities. Demonstrate technical excellence, apply quality assurance & management norms, standards and safety. Compile project reports Qualifications BSc or BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) / Professional Engineering Technologist (PrTech Eng) will be an added advantage Skills Minimum eight (8) years relevant experience in design of civil engineering projects e.g., roads,stormwater drainage, water supply, sewer, bulk earthworks. Thorough working knowledge of specifications and Bill of Quantities (COLTO / COTO, SANS 1200, project specific etc.) & Conditions of Contract (SAICE GCC, FIDIC, NEC). Proficient Microsoft Project (or similar programming software) and Microsoft Office skills required. E.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint etc. Benefits Inclusive
