Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bid Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term contract to provide maternity relief. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring proposals are accurate, compliant, and delivered within deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator with tendering experience to gain exposure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.

• Residing in Centurion or surrounding areas.

• 13 years experience in bid administration, proposal management, or a related role.

• Strong understanding of the tendering process.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience with document management and collaboration platforms.

• Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end bid and proposal process from initial review to submission.

• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, operations) and external stakeholders to gather and consolidate information.

• Compile technical information, reports, and marketing materials for proposals.

• Maintain and update a comprehensive bid library with version control.

• Track progress, deadlines, and deliverables, providing regular updates to management.

• Ensure all bids meet compliance requirements, company standards, and best practices.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants to support smooth bid execution.
