ProStaffSelect are in search of a skilled HEAD CHEF to oversee the daily operations of THREE HIGH-VOLUME eatery style Bistros & Trendy Take-Away. These are small but VERY BUSY daily kitchen operations that require exceptional management and planning oversight to ensure the smooth running of all three outlets. REQUIREMENTS: 5 – 6 YEARS head chef or exec sous chef experience within busy restaurant operations Creative Menu Design experience with a PASSION for wholesome and healthy cuisine Experience with Farm to Table Cuisine and HIGH QUALITY BEEF products a huge advantage Temperament for Developing, Motivating and Training chefs Strong directing and control skills with staff & managing teams Proven abilities in menu costing, utilization of ingredients, stock and wastage controls Strong Leadership, Planning, Organizational and Management abilities Excellent Computer Proficiency on MS Excel & Word as well as Back of House / Inventory Systems Excellent Guest Relations Skills and comfortable in dealing with customers directly Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & Afrikaans Creative problem-solving skills Own transport essential to travel between all three outlets
