Mychina is a South African Family-owned business that supports 500 local suppliers situated in Benoni that requires a Distribution Manager that will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of inventory, storage, and distribution process within the organization. Key duties include managing and training receiving staff, maintaining inventory records, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing paperwork as per procedure. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe and organized receiving area and solving problems related to damaged or missing itemsDuties / Responsibilities:Inventory management implementation to track and report stock movements. Staff schedules and leave plans in place together with a suitable Succession plan with trained candidates in case of emergency. 100% accuracy of movement of stock across various stock locations. Supervise department within company policy and procedures as per financial mandate keeping compliance with processes as well as legal and binding instructions. Identifying of risk to improve processes escalating improvement of process chain for change of policy and procedure Ensure excellent inter departmental relations to ensure company objectives Requirements of skills and education: Tertiary Qualification in Distribution or equivalent in relevant subject. Minimum of 5 years practical experience in distribution managers role with in retail industry with experience.
