New contracting role available – 12 Month contract for Senior Business Analyst with Banking / Financial Services experience to join the BI / Data Analysis Team 

New Job opportunity – 6 months with top tier bank – Business Analyst with experience in projects related Tax Reporting and CL-STRUCT (non-negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, document, and validate requirements for IT3 Tax Reporting, producing BRS, FS, and data mapping documents.
• Analyse CL-STRUCT source data and map required fields into Axiom templates.
• Define data lineage and transformation logic for IT3 regulatory reporting.
• Facilitate workshops with Tax, Finance, Business and IT stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, integration teams and Axiom specialists on interface and ETL requirements.
• Support SIT and UAT for IT3 outputs, ensuring SARS compliance readiness.
• Track and resolve defects while maintaining structured communication across governance forums.

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Taxation, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within financial services.
• Proven background in regulatory or tax reporting projects.
• Prior IT3 Reporting or SARS compliance project experience (highly advantageous).
• Experience with CL-STRUCT or similar structured product systems.
• Strong data mapping, SQL, and ETL/lineage validation experience.
• Familiarity with Axiom or similar regulatory reporting platforms.

Skills:

• Strong documentation ability (BRS, FS, data mapping).
• JIRA, Confluence, Visio, BPMN.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight regulatory timelines.

Non-negotiables:

• Solid financial services BA background.
• Regulatory/tax reporting exposure.
• Strong data and systems analysis capability.
