Compliance Officer Sandton

Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer. Must have Solid FICA experience.

Salary: Market-related CTC (depending on experience and qualifications)

Hours: 8am to 5pm

Type of Role: Permanent Office based only.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Law / LLB or related field

Admission as an attorney in South Africa will be an advantage

Minimum of 5 years experience as a Compliance Officer

3+ years compliance experience working for a law firm

Must have Solid FICA experience

Certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance, AML, etc.) is a plus

In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements

Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping

Strong business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality

Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex procedures and regulations

Excellent communication and negotiation skills
