A leading engineering solutions company is searching for a Sales Engineer to support and grow their footprint across the Steelpoort mining region . This role focuses on selling specialised safety, monitoring, and underground mining technologies , working directly with major mining operations, production teams, and engineering managers. Non-Negotiable Requirements ✠Technical qualification in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics / Instrumentation ✠35 years experience in technical sales into the mining sector ✠Strong network within chrome, platinum, and underground mining operations ✠Proven track record in solution sales (systems, safety, monitoring, or related technologies) ✠Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively across Steelpoort mines Job Experience & Skills Required – Develop and maintain relationships with mining engineers, production teams, and procurement – Identify opportunities for safety, monitoring, communication, and automation technologies – Conduct site visits, demonstrations, and technical presentations underground and on-surface – Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and specification through to commercial negotiation – Collaborate with technical teams to design custom solutions for mine-specific needs – Drive territory growth, market share, and repeat business – Maintain CRM records, sales reporting, pipeline management, and forecasting For more engineering jobs, please visit:
