Requirements: National Senior Certificate or equivalent (NQF 4) SAGMA or GMF accredited qualification Minimum 3 years experience as a miller, preferably with wheat flour Basic computer proficiency; full spectrum grain experience advantageous Valid Code 8 drivers license and own transport Core competencies: Communication, Teamwork, Planning & Organising, Reliability, Achieving Results, Embracing Change Functional competencies: Delegation, Operations Coordination, Problem-Solving, Resilience, Continuous Improvement, Prioritising, Building Work Relationships, Critical Thinking Technical knowledge: Milling production processes, Quality Control, Preventative Maintenance, ISO 22000, OHS, HACCP, TACCP Responsibilities: Supervise and develop the milling team to meet production targets Ensure staff skills development aligns with departmental and business needs Maintain clean, safe, and hazard-free work areas; enforce OHS compliance Monitor and maintain quality food safety standards, pest control, and traceability processes Ensure proper cleaning programs and continuous improvement of the Food Safety Management System Maintain brand image and uphold company values in daily operations Production: Ensure consistency, quality, and profitable operation of the milling process Maintenance: Ensure daily maintenance tasks and millers duties are completed effectively Pest control: Implement and oversee pest control plans and quality control measures Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management and support colleagues as needed
