This is a 6 – 8 month contract with our client in the Financial Services Industry This is a pivotal role, responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and high-quality data is the backbone of our critical D365 implementations and integrations across the organisation. Key Responsibilities · Lead Data Implementation: Lead and support all data activities across major Microsoft D365 implementation projects (Finance, Operations, or CE). · Data Pipeline Engineering: Develop and maintain data models, pipelines, and ETL/ELT processes to integrate D365 with core banking and external systems. · Data Quality & Compliance: Clean, validate, and transform data to ensure adherence to stringent banking compliance and regulatory requirements. · Business Intelligence (BI): Design and build powerful Power BI dashboards and insights to drive data-driven decision-making for leadership and operational teams. · Collaboration: Work closely with D365 functional/technical teams, BI developers, and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). · Governance: Implement and ensure strong data governance and metadata management practices across all D365 modules. Essential Experience · D365 Implementation: Proven experience in Microsoft D365 implementations (Finance, Operations, or Customer Engagement) is essential. · Data Expertise: 5 years of progressive experience in data engineering, data analytics, BI development, or data management roles. · Technical Stack: Strong SQL expertise and hands-on proficiency with modern ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS). · Data Management: Knowledge of data warehousing, data modelling, and integration frameworks. · Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving skills and resilience in a fast-paced, high-stakes project environment. Highly Advantageous · Banking Data: Experience working with complex banking datasets (General Ledger, lending, customer records, payments, etc.). · Qualifications: Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. · Certifications: Microsoft certifications in D365, Azure, or Power BI.
