Private Game Reserve close to Montagu is looking for an Infrastructure Coordinator to be responsible for assisting with all day-to-day management of infrastructure related activities for the Conservation Department. The Infrastructure Coordinator is responsible for management and upkeep of all Conservation related infrastructure which includes fences, roads, dams and bomas , as well as the heavy machinery (plant equipment). Requirements: Grade 12 Degree in Nature Conservation or equivalent. 5 years minimum previous experience in a similar environment. Ability to anticipate future circumstances, conditions and requests and use these scenarios to plan for the future. Ability to correctly communicate detailed information and instruction to others. Ability to recognise safety or security concerns. Ability to solve problems with flexibility and innovation. Ability to oversee and simultaneously pay attention to a number of demands. Demonstrates the ability to think ahead and take initiative. High levels of verbal and numerical ability. Ability to effectively communicate with others in English (written and spoken) and Afrikaans (spoken). Intermediate user of Microsoft Office software applications, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook. Conversant with specialist terminology including: Conservation I Maintenance and Mechanics Code 10 Drivers license and ability to tow trailers and operate heavy machinery. Firearm competency. First Aid: Level 1 qualified. 4×4 driving skills. High degree of confidentiality and protection of sensitive information. Displays a sense of urgency and dedication to meeting the needs and wishes of others
