A well-established organisation within the logistics and transport sector, based in Boksburg, is seeking a capable Financial Accountant to support accurate reporting, compliance, and financial control. This is a solid opportunity for a finance professional who has completed articles and wants to apply strong fundamentals in a commercially focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
• Supporting audits and statutory compliance
• VAT and tax calculations and submissions
• Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Ensuring financial accuracy and adherence to deadlines

Job Experience and Skills Required (Non-Negotiable)

Education:

• BCom degree (essential)
• Completed articles (any firm – essential)

Experience:

• Post-articles accounting experience
• Exposure to Logistics or Transport environments (essential)
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles

Skills:

• Strong Excel skills
• Experience working with accounting systems / ERPs
• High attention to detail and strong deadline management

Other:

• Based in or willing to commute to Boksburg
• Employment Equity will be applied in line with company policy

• Candidates without completed articles will not be considered
• This role is not suitable for bookkeepers or junior finance clerks

Remuneration

R450,000 per annum
