Vagspec Centre Randburg is seeking an experienced and hands-on Panel Shop Manager to oversee daily panel shop operations and ensure high-quality repair standards and on-time job completion.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee daily panel shop operationsSupervise, lead, and manage panel shop staffAllocate jobs and manage workflow efficientlyEnsure quality control and high workmanship standardsCoordinate vehicle inspections, estimates, and repair processesManage parts ordering and inventory controlLiaise with customers and insurance assessorsEnsure all jobs are completed on time and within deadlinesControl costs, reduce wastage, and minimise reworkMaintain equipment, tools, and workshop cleanlinessCompile and submit performance and operational reports- Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE)- Applicants who do not meet all requirements will not be contacted.Minimum 3+ years experience in a panel shop or body repair environmentProven supervisory or management experienceStrong knowledge of panel beating, spray painting, and repair processesAbility to lead, motivate, and manage a teamExperience with job scheduling and workflow managementStrong focus on quality control and workmanship standardsCommitment to company policies and high-quality standardsExcellent time management with a proven ability to meet deadlinesExperience dealing with customers and insurance assessorsBasic reporting skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making.
