A well-established client of ours is currently looking for the expertise of an experienced and ambitious Construction supervisor to join their team of professionals.

Key Requirements:

• Drivers License (Code 8)
• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 3 Years of Experience
• Experience in water/sewer pipework
• Experience in Pipe Bursting 

Responsibilities:

• Resource & Material Management
• Monitor Cost and Production
• Make effective decisions and solve problems that may arise
• Conduct monthly measurements and data for progress statements
• Maintains project administration in a correct and timely manner.
• Orders materials and equipment and takes care of the necessary permits.
• Accomplishes construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Assesses safety and finance goals.
• Manages sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting contractors.
• Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews.
• Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures.
• Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope.
• Approves construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases.
• Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.
