SAIPA Junior Accounting Article Clerk

An established accounting environment is seeking a motivated SAIPA Junior Article Clerk to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about accounting, eager to learn, and ready to build a solid foundation toward becoming a Professional Accountant (SA).

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• BCom Accounting or BCom Financial Management (completed or currently studying)
• Own transport and a valid drivers licence essential
• Excellent communication and writing skills in Afrikaans & English essential

Technical Skills

• Pastel Accounting (full function up to trial balance) essential
• Microsoft Excel & Word essential
• CaseWare experience advantageous
• SARS E-Filing knowledge advantageous
• Experience with financial statements advantageous
• Auditing exposure advantageous
• Taxation knowledge, including calculation and submission of tax returns advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• VAT calculations and submissions
• SARS submissions and related admin
• Capturing and processing on Pastel
• Assisting with drafting financial statements
• Exposure to all aspects of the SAIPA Learnership
