⭐ NEW URGENT Management / Lodge Couple Vacancy – Waterberg Lodge Couple / Management Couple – 5* Boutique Safari Lodge – Waterberg Region ➡️ Live-in Role | Flexible Structure | Long-term Growth Opportunity Kendrick Recruitment is urgently seeking a committed, hands-on Lodge Couple or Management Couple for a small, owner-managed safari lodge in the Waterberg. This is a rare opportunity for candidates who want to grow with a property, work closely with an involved owner, and help shape the future of a developing lodge portfolio. The current lodge consists of 5 rooms (10 beds) and 1 game viewer , with 6 staff members in place. The owner has also recently acquired two additional lodges , with further development planned, including a future lodge adjacent to Welgevonden. The right candidates will be forward-thinking, invested, and willing to walk the extra mile while seeing the bigger picture. Unfortunately, no dependants or pets can be accommodated at this stage. Possible Candidate Structures (Flexible): • Trails Guide Chef Couple • Junior Lodge / Management Couple • Senior Lodge / Management Couple (experienced candidates welcome) • Senior All-Rounder / General Manager , if paired with a junior support partner Key Responsibilities (Role-dependent): • Overall lodge operations and guest experience delivery • Hosting guests, managing daily schedules, and ensuring personalised service • Guiding activities and trails (where qualified) • Kitchen management and meal preparation (where applicable) • Staff supervision, training, and mentoring • Stock control, ordering, basic admin, and reporting • Vehicle, lodge, and equipment oversight • Working collaboratively with the owner on lodge growth and future planning Requirements: • Proven relevant experience in a luxury lodge environment • One partner with valid guiding qualifications if applying as a guiding couple (Trails advantageous) • Strong work ethic, adaptability, and willingness to be hands-on • Guest-focused mindset with good communication skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Valid South African work eligibility • No dependants or pets Package Includes: • Live-in accommodation • WiFi and DSTV • Housekeeping support • R1,500 per person monthly meal allowance • Opportunity to grow into a senior role as the lodge portfolio expands Why This Role: This position suits candidates who are not just looking for a job , but a longer-term partnership .
