Job Description

Job Title: Creditors Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creditors Clerk to join our team based in Midrand.

Requirements:
Matric with an Accounting or Financial qualification is advantageous
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Creditor’s Clerk, preferably in the financial industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and correspondence
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and MS Office applications is required
Familiarity with Sage X 3 software is highly preferred
The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines is crucial to ensure timely payment processing and management reporting
Strong performance-driven and attention-to-detail skills are necessary for accuracy and efficiency

Responsibilities:
Process invoices, expenses, and payments to the correct accounts to ensure accurate management reporting
Reconcile supplier statements with transactions processed on the accounting system and apply payments and credit notes as required
Resolve creditors’ queries on supplier statements and system queries within 30 days of receipt
Meet deadlines for payment processing and ensure timely payment to suppliers
Compile the accruals spreadsheet to ensure expenses are accounted for in the correct financial period
Conduct foreign recon statements for suppliers
