Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior CXP Developer to join our team at Goldman Tech in South Africa. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software systems, with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance software applications using C#.Net and newer JavaScript frameworks like Angular.
- Develop and maintain user interfaces (UIs) to ensure seamless user experience.
- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Familiarize yourself with embedded databases, system datastores, RESTful APIs, and other relevant technologies to integrate them seamlessly into our software systems.
- Perform benchmarking and optimization tasks to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in software design, OOD methodologies, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in source code development in the banking or financial sector.
- Proficient in C#.Net and JavaScript, including newer frameworks like Angular.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, web development frameworks (AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery), and service-oriented architecture.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, MVC, design patterns, Relational Databases, SQL, and software design methodologies.
- Familiarity with hardware and software performance limits and characteristics, as well as memory management and multi-threading concepts.
- Experience with embedded databases, other system datastores, RESTful APIs, and low-level C-based libraries is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, JIRA, BitBucket).
- Familiarity with continuous integration practices.
