About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Complete Healthcare Services. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work on a one-to-one basis with patients in their homes or in facilities, providing high-quality care and support to individuals with varying needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide basic care and assistance with personal hygiene (washing, dressing, grooming, feeding, support with moving, toileting)
Administer medications under supervision of the registered nurse or family
Document patient condition and progress
Monitor vitals and record changes in patient condition
Manage feeds of tracheostomy patients using a feeding pump
Observe and record sleep routines of patients
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLS)
Perform basic wound care

Requirements

Strong understanding of treatment plans set out by the multidisciplinary team (doctor, NSM, or physiotherapist)
Good communication skills with supervisors, colleagues, patients, and family members
Knowledge of dealing with emergency situations in a patient’s home environment
Experience working with geriatric, pediatric, dementia, post-stroke, ventilation, and catheter care

Qualifications

Diploma as an Enrolled Nurse
Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
