About the Role
Turn technical insight into trusted partnerships. Be the face of innovation in underground mining, driving growth across the Western Limb and Limpopo regions, representing a world-class portfolio of underground mining equipment and consumables.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage new and existing customer relationships in the mining sector.
- Provide hands-on technical support and problem-solving in underground and roof support applications.
- Conduct underground site visits, inspections, and demonstrations to identify client needs.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical presentations.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while growing market share in the region.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Track market trends and competitor activity, sharing insights with leadership.
Requirements
- Engineering diploma or degree (Mining, Mechanical, Industrial, or Rock Engineering preferred).
- Proven experience in underground miningroof support experience highly advantageous.
- Strong background in technical sales or field-based customer service.
- Established network with mine managers, rock engineers, and procurement professionals.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability and commercial focus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident presenter.
- CRM proficiency and sound understanding of sales forecasting.
- Valid drivers licence; ideally based in Pretoria, Brits, or Rustenburg.
