About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager: Projects to lead our skills development initiatives in Nelspruit. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing government and SETA-funded programmes, with expertise in strategic planning, team motivation, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from conception to completion
- Develop and implement strategic plans for skills development initiatives
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve project objectives
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, SETA representatives, and community leaders
- Analyze data to inform project decisions and drive outcomes
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification highly advantageous
- Proven experience in managing government and SETA-funded programmes
- Minimum 5-7 years in project management, preferably within skills development, education, or HR sectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field (PMP or PRINCE2 certification considered an asset)
