Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead our production team in a roll shop setting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a production environment with at least 5 years’ experience in a related Foreman / Supervisory position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects, ensuring quality management, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage production teams and ensure efficient workflow
Monitor and control machining operations to achieve high-quality standards
Conduct regular inspections and reporting on production progress
Assist with quality control and implementation of quality management procedures
Supervise and coordinate the work of other team members as required

Requirements

A proven track record in a production environment
Qualified Artisan: Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker
Ability to read mechanical drawings (Mechanical)
Knowledge of the OSH Act and experience in the administration of Safety, Health and Environmental requirements
Strong knowledge of quality management
Welding experience required
Computer literate (particularly Excel) and knowledge of Syspro is a requirement

Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent; higher education such as an Associate’s Management, Industrial Engineering or related field is preferred.
Qualified Artisan: Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker certificate.
