Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Portfolio Bookkeeping: Direct and execute the complete accounting and bookkeeping function for several distinct entities within the group, processing adjustments, monthly journals, and multi-layered accruals.
- Multi-Entity Management Reporting: Compile and present clear monthly management accounts, operational dossiers, and financial health updates for executive leadership review.
- Intercompany & Treasury Governance: Orchestrate complex cross-entity transactional accounting, perform rigorous bank and intercompany loan reconciliations, and monitor rolling group cash movements.
- Statutory Compliance & Audit Support: Formulate and submit precise VAT returns and statutory filings, enforce internal controls, and organize comprehensive supporting documentation for seamless annual external audit cycles.
- Operational Business Partnering: Coordinate day-to-day payment runs, assist with cash flow administration, and collaborate closely with cross-functional internal stakeholders to drive financial process improvements.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Formal Education: A completed BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related tertiary business qualification.
- Experience Track: A minimum of 5 years of solid, reference-backed experience operating within a full-function bookkeeping or accounting position.
- Portfolio Competency: Proven, practical success independently managing the general ledgers of multiple entities or cross-divisional corporate structures simultaneously.
- Systems Depth: Advanced operational command of Microsoft Excel alongside extensive familiarity navigating mainstream financial accounting ERP software packages.
