About the Role

Join a dynamic international business with a fast-paced and scaling finance environment. Our client is a remote-first team that values accuracy, growth, and continuous improvement. We are seeking a Junior Accountant to support our core transactional accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage billing, receipts allocation, and proactive debt chasing for receivables
Process supplier invoices, resolve queries, and prepare weekly payment runs
Maintain customer and supplier records with accuracy and escalation where needed
Perform daily bank postings and assist with bank reconciliations
Keep financial and commercial systems (including Xero) updated and accurate
Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Support audit preparation and internal control documentation
Contribute to process improvement and automation projects as the business scales

Requirements

12 years experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Proficient in Xero and intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skills
Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and comfortable in a remote team setting
