Job Description
The Technician is responsible for diagnosing and solving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and other faults on plant and equipment.
This position entails shift work.
Key Responsibilities:
· Daily maintenance checks on injection moulding machines, decorating and services equipment.
· Diagnosing and solving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and other faults.
· Machinery downtime reduction.
· Attending promptly to machine stoppages or breakdowns.
· Planned maintenance.
· Identifying and sorting out safety areas of concern.
· Housekeeping.
· Upkeep of maintenance tools and machinery.
· Production and plant efficiency.
· Recording of all related reports in the format given to you by your manager.
· Shift handing over.
· Training of staff.
