About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Retail Business Support Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will provide analysis and support to the retail operations department, ensuring efficient and effective operations while maximizing profits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of retail operations data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of retail operations
- Provide support and guidance to retail managers and staff in implementing operational best practices
- Assist in the development and implementation of retail strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track and communicate retail performance
- Assist in the planning and execution of retail promotions and events
Requirements
- Relevant bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in retail operations or business analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices
