Job Description
- Prepare and serve coffee, specialty beverages, and food items to company standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times.
- Manage POS transactions, including handling cash and card payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including equipment cleaning.
- Restock supplies such as milk, pastries, beans, and packaging materials.
- Follow all hygiene, food safety, and health regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials when appropriate.
Requirements:
- Previous Barista or café experience preferred (salary adjusted based on experience).
- Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and coffee equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic maths and till-handling ability.
